Getting around Staten Island
Because there's no direct road or rail bridge to Manhattan, a Staten Island pickup headed into the city either uses the Staten Island Ferry, free but on a fixed schedule, or crosses the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn and up through the city, which we use for driven door-to-door service. For airport transfers, the New Jersey bridges make Newark Liberty the fastest option for most of the island, ahead of JFK or LaGuardia.
